The idea is to celebrate the life and commemorate the passing of Junior Seau.

Every year General Manager Jeff Ireland has been involved with the Miami Dolphins [team stats] ’ draft, he’s found at least two rookie starters. From Jake Long, Kendall Langford and Donald Thomas in 2008 to Mike Pouncey and situational starter Charles Clay in 2011, the Dolphins have wasted little time inserting draft picks into the top spot on the depth chart. But on a team that went 6-10 last season, there still are plenty of holes to fill.

As a huge fan of the Miami Dolphins it’s hard to watch the games sometimes, especially with the quarterbacks that the Dolphins have had since Dan Marino retired back in 1999. This is likely why a lot of the hype surrounding the Dolphins heading into the 2012 NFL Draft is on finding a quarterback. While it is certainly hard to compete with the achievements that Marino had while with the Dolphins there have been five quarterbacks in particular who landed in Miami with high hopes, only to become big busts.

Written by The Sports Network (Sports Network) – The Dolphins’ primary goal for this draft is to attain a quality young quarterback that can solidify a position that’s lacked stability ever since Dan Marino’s retirement well over a decade ago. Miami also hasn’t taken a signal-caller in the first round since striking gold with Marino all the way back in 1983, but it’s believed that drought could very well end if Texas A&M’s Ryan Tannehill is still available at the team’s No. 8 overall pick
